So quit struggling with mediocre headphone amps. For this alone it is worth the money. It's a good, simple handy unit for me to have. The lowest-priced brand-new, unused, unopened, undamaged item in its original packaging where packaging is applicable. It is extremely well built and very compact. So easy a caveman could use it! I have had this guy for a little over a month now and it has proven itself as a worthy addition to my rig.

I bought it because I wanted a headphone amp as my multitracker was a little low in volume. No problems so far and has a clean sound. I should have bought one years ago. Stereo output is also available on each channel to send line level headphone channel mixes to additional headphone amplifiers or monitor systems. If your interface has a similar issue or is simply not loud enough this will compensate. Seems like a well built little unit. The dials are smooth with the smallest of movements making a big difference in volume. The input can either be set to stereo or mono. Four outputs is all I need.

Then I patch into the presonus hp4 from the snake and hit the handy Mono button and I'm able to maximize quality of my headphone mixes. The signal quality is excellent with no discernible coloration to the sound. Convenient Controls There is no scrambling with this headphone distribution amplifier. We send this to the powered speakers in our school's edit lab, making it very easy to adjust volume independently to the headphones or the speakers at our Instructor station iMac. This has the power to make the tracks audible and much easier to mix. This is the device to achieve that. At last, everybody will be able to hear! It is designed with four discrete headphone outputs on the front panel, each with its own volume potentiometer and 150mW of amplification per channel. Even though I mostly record my own tracks, I use this device to plug in several different headphones so I can work on different mixes: my top-of-the-line headphones, my middle-of-the-road headphones, and my mediocre ones. Very very clean and loud. There are better quality ones out there, but not for this price.
